Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine utilises natural plant substances(botanicals) to prevent and treat diseases and ailments and to promote health and healing.

Herbal Medicine has existed since prehistoric times and flourishes today as the primary form of medicine for up to 80% of the world's population. It is a practice that is widely used in Asia and Western Europe; in Germany, for example, one-third of graduating physicians have studied herbal medicine, with many general practitioners utilising herbal medicine among other natural remedies within their practices.

 
 

There is a growing interest in herbal medicine, with more and more scientific research offering indications that not only valid at emedicinal use of herbs but also show evidence of the results that can be achieved using this form of natural medicine.
